John H is one of our executive functioning coaches for adults. He currently is a professional development manager at an international law firm where he assists associates with career development and counseling. At The Ladder Method, he works with our adult clients on all facets of executive functioning and executive leadership.

Ivan graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in History and later completed an M.A. in History at Cal State University of Los Angeles. Ivan has worked in the field of education for over 15 years as a teacher, advisor, and manager of various school programs. He has worked directly with students in varying age groups, from middle school through high school, and college-level adults.

Junior Coach
Robin completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University Monterey Bay in Humanities and Communications with a Concentration in English Studies. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in English at California State University Fullerton.
At the Ladder Method, Robin aids in all things literature and history-based. Her tutoring specialty is essay-writing and outlining at any grade range for any subject. Robin has a nurturing but determined attitude when it comes to her tutoring style. She shows students a sense of enthusiasm and encouragement to succeed in their academics.
Taylor B
Taylor is about to begin her sixth year of teaching students who are deaf and hard of hearing. Taylor majored in Education and English at the University of Memphis. She continued her studies at Vanderbilt Medical School, focusing on educating the deaf.
In LA, she works with over 20 schools with students who are deaf or hard of hearing on self-advocacy and auditory skills. Since 2018, she has also been tutoring students from ages 5 to 18 in a wide array of content areas. She has specialized training in reading interventions such as Wilson Reading System and S.P.I.R.E to help students who struggle with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and other phonologically based disorders. Her passion is helping students who lack confidence in reading and writing learn to express themselves and connect with authors who resonate with them.

At The Ladder Method, Jeffrey specializes in working with primary school and Middle School students. He gets the most joy in his work when he sees a student succeed, make growth in a subject area, or have a lightbulb moment that helps them learn.
